Program Overview:

One of the complex problems faced in the engineering Companies is to find the relationship between the desired output and the factors influencing them. One of the most powerful tools available to solve this complex problem is Design Of Experiments often known as D.O.E.

DOE was first conceived and developed by Sir Ronald A Fischer in 1920, which is extensively used in the application of Six Sigma techniques. Although DOE was initially applied by Fischer in the agricultural produce, today DOE is one of the powerful tools used for solving complex engineering problems.

DOE essentially is a statistical analysis tool to find the

mathematical relationship connecting the cause and effect, which in turn helps to optimized the process parameters.

Although DOE was initially applied for solving Engineering problems, it is equally powerful for designing a service process or to develop the new products with zero defects.

In this program, you will have a hands-on experience applying DOE using Minitab software.

For the people from Service industry, we will demonstrate how DOE can be applied using process simulation techniques with the help of iGrafx software.
